Guest Speaker, Anne Gelwicks, President of South Carolina
Society of OCR, extends an invitation to the spouses and friends of the
Hunley Camp to start an OCR Chapter. |
|
Over a dozen compatriots receive their membership pins as they join the
camp.
|
|
1st Lt. Cmdr. Walker Wright presented the colors. The color guard was made
up of members of the various reenacting groups.
|
|
The Hunley Camp was sponsored by Secession Camp # 4 of
Charleston. Commander Ed Moon was present, along with Compatriots David
Rentz, Clay Martin, and Randy Burbage. They may have been others present
to show their support.
|
|
Camp Officers are sworn in by 2nd Lt. Cmdr. Clay Martin,
SC Division.
|
|
The main event of the evening was the presentation of
the Camp Charter. There was a passing of the flag to Commander Boatwright,
and all members signed the charter.

| The Hunley Camp presented the Friends of the Hunley with the proceeds of
their first fund-raiser. |

|
|
The meeting was held at Depot Diner in Ravenel. The food and
the service was wonderful. Thanks for having us. |

was a very enjoyable evening.
